Returns, breakage and warranty
Plain-English version first; the full wording is in our terms. Nothing here takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Broken on delivery
Check every panel when it arrives, before the driver leaves if you can. If anything is cracked, chipped or scratched, don't accept it: note it with the driver, or email [email protected] within 24 hours with photos of the damage and the packaging. We replace damaged glass at no cost and re-deliver. Glass that passes the inspection and is damaged afterwards is not covered.
Broken after pick-up
Inspect the glass with us before you load it. From the moment it leaves, it's in your care: breakage in your vehicle or on site is not covered. We'll replace a broken panel at the normal price as quickly as we can.
Custom glass can't be returned
Made-to-measure panels are toughened to your sizes and can't be cut again or resold, so they can't be returned or exchanged if you change your mind or measured wrongly. That's why the designer makes you confirm the sizes before you pay. If we made a panel to a size other than the one you confirmed, or it has a manufacturing fault, we remake it free.
Stock sizes and hardware
Unused stock-size panels and hardware in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days for a refund less any delivery charge. Email first so we can arrange it. Items that have been drilled, fitted or marked can't be returned.
Warranty
All glass is Grade A toughened safety glass to AS/NZS 2208 and is replaced if it has a manufacturing defect. Hinges, brackets, channels and seals are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship when installed as intended. Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply on top of these: if a product isn't of acceptable quality you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
We supply the glass and hardware; installation is yours or your tradesperson's. Problems caused by installation (for example glass that breaks because it was bolted up tight, or a door hung off a wall that can't carry it) aren't covered.
