Frequently asked questions
- Is the price supply only?
- Yes. The price covers the toughened glass panels (with hinge cut-outs and holes), the hinges, brackets or channel, knob or handle, seals and silicone shown in the price breakdown. You or your tradesperson install it.
- How accurate do my measurements need to be?
- To the millimetre, taken after tiling. Glass can't be trimmed once it's toughened. Follow the measuring guide: width at the base, tile to tile, and a 2 m level on each wall and the base. The designer shows the exact glass sizes before you pay, and you confirm them.
- My walls aren't plumb. Can you still do it?
- Yes, that's the point of the designer. Tell it the gap under your level and the fixed panel is cut on a rake to follow the wall; the door stays square. Up to 5 mm is taken up in the silicone on stock panels.
- What glass do you use?
- Grade A toughened safety glass to AS/NZS 2208: 10 mm (or 12 mm) for frameless, 6 mm for semi-frameless, with flat polished edges. Clear, low-iron (ultra clear), satin and grey tint.
- How long does it take?
- Stock-size panels and hardware are usually ready within a few days. Made-to-order glass takes 7–10 business days from payment. The designer shows an estimated ready date.
- Where do you deliver?
- Within the Illawarra, Helensburgh to Gerringong, from $95.00. Or pick up free from Unanderra NSW 2526. Use the postcode checker on the delivery page.
- What if the glass arrives broken?
- Refuse it on delivery or email photos within 24 hours and we replace it free. After you've accepted or collected it, it's in your care.
- Can I return custom glass?
- No. It's made to your sizes and can't be resold. Unused stock items and hardware can be returned within 14 days. Manufacturing faults are always remade free.
- Can I get a written quote for my client?
- Yes. In the designer, use 'Print / PDF quote' under the price. It has our ABN, every panel size, the price breakdown and a link that re-opens the exact design.
- Do you do trade pricing?
- We supply plenty of builders and renovators. Email [email protected] with your ABN and typical volume and we'll talk.
